Unified Scheme for Describing Time Delay and Time Advance in the Interpolation of Rotational Bands of Resonances

چکیده
In this paper we show how rotational bands of resonances can be described by using trajectories of poles of the scattering amplitude in the complex angular momentum plane: each band of resonances is represented by the evolution of a single pole lying in the first quadrant of the plane. The main result of the paper consists in showing that also the antiresonances (or echoes) can be described by trajectories of the scattering amplitude poles, instead of using the hard–sphere potential scattering as prescribed by the classical Breit–Wigner theory. The antiresonance poles lie in the fourth quadrant of the complex angular momentum plane, and are associated with non–local potentials which take into account the exchange forces; it derives a clear–cut separation between resonance and antiresonance poles. The evolution of these latter poles describes the passage from quantum to semi–classical physics. The theory is tested on the rotational band produced by α–α elastic scattering and on the hadronic rotational bands in π–p elastic scattering.

A numerical approach for variable-order fractional unified chaotic systems with time-delay
This paper proposes a new computational scheme for approximating variable-order fractional integral operators by means of finite element scheme. This strategy is extended to approximate the solution of a class of variable-order fractional nonlinear systems with time-delay. Numerical simulations are analyzed in the perspective of the mean absolute error and experimental convergence order. To ill...
متن کاملComputational Method for Fractional-Order Stochastic Delay Differential Equations
Dynamic systems in many branches of science and industry are often perturbed by various types of environmental noise. Analysis of this class of models are very popular among researchers. In this paper, we present a method for approximating solution of fractional-order stochastic delay differential equations driven by Brownian motion. The fractional derivatives are considered in the Caputo sense...

The cable equation is one the most fundamental mathematical models in the neuroscience, which describes the electro-diffusion of ions in denderits. New findings indicate that the standard cable equation is inadequate for describing the process of electro-diffusion of ions. So, recently, the cable model has been modified based on the theory of fractional calculus. In this paper, the two dimensio...
متن کاملOptimal pricing and ordering policies for perishable products under advance-cash-credit payment scheme
Recently, market globalization and competition have forced companies to find alternative means to boost sales and revenue. The use of the cash flow is increasingly becoming a viable alternative for managers to improve their company’s profitability in a supply chain. In today’s business transactions, a supplier usually asks a manufacturer to pay via the advance-cash-credit (ACC) payment scheme i...
متن کاملMarkovian Delay Prediction-Based Control of Networked Systems
A new Markov-based method for real time prediction of network transmission time delays is introduced. The method considers a Multi-Layer Perceptron (MLP) neural model for the transmission network, where the number of neurons in the input layer is minimized so that the required calculations are reduced and the method can be implemented in the real-time. For this purpose, the Markov process order...
